I have always loved the flavor of pita chips, however the ones at the store have always been to tough on my teeth. I thought my days of enjoying pita chips was over until the other day. After I made myself a pita sandwich I noticed there were instructions for pita chips on the back of our Jasmine Pita Bread. How had I missed this?! I tried them out and WOW! SPECTACULAR! This was so delicious and I couldn’t believe how easy. It is fool proof. You can also customize your own chips with your favorite seasonings.
Preheat oven to 325.
Cut pita into 6 triangles.
Peel each triangle in half so you have 12 pieces (one pita = 12 chips).
Brush with olive oil.
Bake for 6-8 minutes.
Dust with favorite seasonings: I sprinkled half of mine with sea salt and the other half with Mrs. Dash fiesta lime.
